Cari Hawks Foulk
Cari Foulk has been in the quieter areas of the literary world for the past seven years, as a freelance editor. After interning with Jonathan Clements, she took on the position of literary agent, heading a new division of Wheelhouse Literary Group, Tribe Lit. Cari edits her clients work (couldn’t give that up, she loves it too much) and feels that a supportive, creative environment makes for a good agency.
A proponent of individualized attention and accessability, she keeps the writers in the loop throughout the long road to publication.
Caffeine is Cari’s favorite food group, and she doesn’t sleep much, (Who really needs sleep anyway? One might miss something!) She loves a deadline, and is somewhat of a workaholic.
Cari is absolutely passionate about the work she represents.
A favorite quote: “if it’s something I would buy in a bookstore, I’d like to try and sell it.”
Wheelhouse Literary Group was founded by Jonathan Clements. Jonathan has been a literary agent for six years, and has been involved in the entertainment industry for fifteen years. Wheelhouse accepts queries in many different genres. Please click the link to view their submission guidelines.
Fun fact: Jonathan and Cari have been friends since they were ten years old.

I’m working on a website, and am so glad to have met with you at Killer Nashville. I have a pile of mss plus one sci fi that I self published. To look at the cover work google Joy Gallien Barlow and click on amazon.com. It is called Secrets of the Templar Chalice. Let me know if you are interested in that. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I’ve given up birthdays, but my kids still remember. Joy
